Mother Ship

Mother Ship is a chess-inspired game in which the player must isolate the enemy Mother Ship and destroy it while protecting your own Mother Ship.  The twist is that destroying pieces on the board requires you to fire a cannon from your Mother Ship and bounce it off your own pieces to charge them, only then can an enemy unit be destroyed.  

Made for the Interstellar Game Jam 6 with the theme "Isolation"

TIPS

* You must earn enough points equal to the Doom Score before you can destroy the opposing Mother Ship otherwise you fail the level.

* Move your ships up the board to earn bonus points for destroying enemy ships, this is the best way to ensure you get that needed Doom Score.

*  It's not always best to use all of your credits, be sure to keep some spares in case your plans don't work out.

* Always use the Mining action when you have a chance!
